Frame slider question

Is it possible to still rash your side fairings with these installed.

Even extended ones??? So I dont want to trash my good stockers should I buy crash plastics and sliders?? And what about the sliders that come off front and rear axle I have not seen these anywhere, any one know where to pick these up.

i think that's how you spell it. they have engine cages and it does a damned good job for protecting plastics.

Keep in mind that extended sliders can easily strip the threads in your motor mounts. The reason is there is more leverage on them the longer they are. This is why you often see people with bent extended sliders.

Not trying to dissuade you, just something to keep in mind.

I haven't looked that close at my bike yet but I have been told that you have to drill to put sliders on the 02 F4i.

Is that true? Just curious. Gonna look at mine closer.

yes you have to make holes in ur fairings to mount the frame sliders on the f4i
