i have a 01gixxer 1000 ,i like to wheelie here and then,but it feels like im not geting gas and is losing alot of power,you think i need i tune up?

mods:slip on
the oil light stays on at all times(oil level is fine)
it over heats
everytime put it in gear and ride it; it feels like the engine is gonna shut off(jerks alot)

could it be my idle?

how fast does it over heat? it jerks in every gear? how long have you had the slip ons?
