Is it petty?

Im new to sportbikes and the recommended starter is a 250-500. I am a person who wouldnt go out and buy a ugly car, clothes, furniture etc and i feel those bikes are hideous compared to the 600 class bikes. Do u think it would be worth the bumps and bruises to have beauty?

if used a older 600.. yzf 600, f4, f3, or somthing like that
if its going to be a new bike zzr600, F4i, ninja 650R, FZ6, or honda 599
for a 500 the Suzuki GS500F- in my opinion the best looking 500 made to date...

Re: Is it petty?

I'd recommend F2, F3, or F4 as good beginner bikes depending on your budget of you really want a 600 insead of a 250 or 500. Spend a good bit of cash on a good leather jacket, gloves, helmet, boots, etc. You most likely will drop it, so it's not very smart to get something minty if it's your first bike.

Re: Is it petty?

get a modern day 600 dude.
dont waste your money on something like a 500 when you will just get bored of it 6 months down the line. yeah its got some power but just take it easy and get used to it and you'll be ok.

Re: Is it petty?

I say get a newer 600 and jus be careful if thas whatcha want.....

My first bike is the one I have now..... 2003 Honda F4i.... I had never rode a motorcycle of any sorts before and had NEVER drove anything with a CLUTCH even before except a 4-wheeler one time.... so if i can do it, anyone can... like it was said, respect your bike and dont ride beyond your abilities....
