tank question

Is there any way that I can beat this out and make it somewhat useful? It doesn't have to be pretty...I'm going to beat it down on top anyway to make this easier for me. I've never had to beat this big of a dent out before so I'm curious about it. Thanks in advance.

Kristin

Re: tank question

got a crashed tank from Ebay, thought I can bent the dents back but I had no chance, the stuff is tough and you have no space in the inside to use a rod or something...that´s my experience with tanks.... now I´ll only dent it on top for stunting, but yours may R.I.P...lol!

Re: tank question

Re: tank question

that tank is definitely workable.... i just dented a tank that was almost as bad
as that.....although it took a 18" breaker bar and 2lb sludge hammer (and a little liquid steel).....no mallet action

i'll post up a pic later

use that to pull the tanks dent back out..then use a rubber mallet to beat it back in how you want..then use a little body filler and paint and viola...your done

Re: tank question

get a cheap rashed tank on ebay, from a stunter or racer, small dents or scratches doesn´t matter if you stunt it. but your tank is def done!

Re: tank question

Yeah, you'll spend more money fixing it than buying a used, lightly rashed tank on ebay.
