The Tough Sheriff

Sheriff Joe Arpaio-Arizona

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and
charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails.

Took away their weights.

Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free
work on county and city projects. Then he started
chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for
discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was
a federal court order that required cable TV for jails.
So he hooked up the cable TV again but only let in the
Disney channel and the weather channel. When asked
why the weather channel he replied, so they will know
how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my
chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.
When the inmates complained, he told them.....
this is a good one......"This isn't the Ritz Carlton.
If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape
that he pipes into the jails. When asked by a reporter
if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied
that a Democratic lecture series might explain why
a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place .

More on the AZ Sheriff...

With temperatures being even hotter than usual in
Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the
Associated Press reports:

About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded
tent encampment at the Ma ricopa County Jail have been
given permission to strip down to their government issued
pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were
either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents,
which reached 138 degrees inside, the week before.
Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat
collected on their chests and dripped down to their
pink socks.

"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot,
an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 1/2 years.
"It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent
city and long ago started making his prisoners wear
pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit
sympathetic. He said Wednesday that he told all of the
inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are
living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle
gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your
damned mouth.

At that point he should have been cracked in the kisser with the butt of a semi-automatic weapon.

I don't even have cable, let alone coffee when I wake up.

Re: The Tough Sheriff

There was a sheriff like that a couple counties from here. He painted the inside of the prison Pink and it had teddy bears etc, he made them wear the Ol' style stripes clothes, made them work their asses off. He was pretty cool. He used the drug bust money to buy the department newer vehicles, and equipment. The funniest thing was that all the cars and stuff that were bought with drug money had "Paid for by your local drug dealer" wrote on the side.

He finally had to step down because he encouraged his deputies to chase and to wreck ANYONE that fled. The department ended up tearing up to much stuff so they made to step down.... The crime rate went up afterward

Re: The Tough Sheriff

they get what they deserve!! Like he said "if you dont like it, dont come back". That should keep people from commiting more crimes and commin back to jail. They are there cause they did something seriously wrong, and they caused someone harm, so they should be treated like that...

sometimes pain and suffering doesn't do it. Its the individual and the way they were raised. Now many soldiers say after they lost a leg or an arm etc they said tey'd go back. Now what make them different from the criminal? Nothing, they are both willing to risk what they truley belive in. Whether its right or wrong is up to those who are not us most of the time. Your willing to fight a war, risk your life, etc based on ones thoughts on matter and not necessarily on the rest of the country's saftey and tranquility. Its all the same.

The is a thing such as a socia-economical problem which is what we face here in the states. Its not like a rich kid that needs to be taught a lesson. These are people who LIVE and DIE and figure this is all they have. You are looking forward to things in life as I am. But you have to remember that there are those who had and never will have anything. Now how do you think they'll process information as you or I do? It'l be to do the same thing as normal. For us normal is to do the right thing, for him or her its to SURVIVE. They look forward to nothing at all. Nothing. So that's why they do what they do. We need to stop looking at them as peope that are all fukked up but people who made a bad decision.

Now, let you make a mistake or a stupid decision. A bunch of men with testosterone booming, nothing to do, no weights ( I lift to achieve goals as many do for perosnal gain, and for mind sculpture, just like you and boot camp, if you can't do something in a given amount of time then you are a failure and a pu$$y. Same in there. ) So they want to be apart of something. GAng = army, marines, navy, etc., both have friends, friends that fight for eachother, friendas that weill die for eachother, etc. The only thing is you don't go to jail for killing humans, he does... Why? What the society figures is ok. Is it ok to kill ANYONE, OR TAKE A HUMAN LIFE? If you say yes, then your just like a terrorists and this bulshit will never end......

Not saying that some criminals deserve this but non violent idiots don't. They are caught into a place that is not right. You have people trying to kil him for having some marijuana or something stupid. Yea, its a felony but he wasn't trying to kill or raspe, it was for his own stupid ass. Why put a cool and calm dummy with a murderer, if he survives then he'll be a worse problem and burden for us later on....Watch and see. You need to be housed based on what you were conviceted of. not based on the crime....People are fukked upand have no sympathy. We'd se how long they live with some looney-toons when they did nothing but do a wheelie and accidently hit a car with a kid that had a back disorder and killed him even though the car hit him but yet the flying bike hurt the kid. The news would make the biker look like the bad guy....Its ALL fukked....

Re: The Tough Sheriff

anyone can do anything, the crybabies blame our social problems on the criminals being poor and or uneducated but hey I came from a poor family now I have more than I did five years ago, i did not have the same schooling as most in the US but I wanted to learn and did NOT want to commit crimes there for I am not in jail, am i perfect no, have i broken the law yes, and i accepted the consequnece 74$$ for speeding but I dont steal shit from people or shoot them. If I did then I would expect to pay the consequences. If you dont like the consequence for your actions in the United States (any of them) then dont commit a crime dont get caught if you do or ****ing move somewhere else and stop complaining We Americans have it easy.

Re: The Tough Sheriff

I seriously believe that victimless crimes should be treated a little differently. If I decided not to pull over one night... and went to jail for evasion... I should not have to suffer in the same surroundings as a rapist or a child molester.

Here's the kicker though... one guy robs one other guy for his wallet with $500... He goes to a pond-me-in-the-ass prison. But if one guy robs 5000 people out of their entire life savings... Its "sneak you in the back of the court room, discuss a plea bargain, and get off with a 2 year probation and a hefty fine." Yeah... That's fair.
