Is it fair that a person that just ate people or did things like that one post I put about the woman who had the kid and threw it in the trash to go party some more. That is an inhumane crime. Do you get it now? That's what inhumane means. Now, the guy who goes to work everyday, pays his bills, has a family, etc but has a drug habit that wouldn't do a damn thing to hurt anybody but the drugs he taking gets caught. Now, even though he never hurt anybody, and his problems may be more that what the average person goes through everyday he will still have to fist fight, get stabbed, and risk everyday getting killed by a truly psychotic person. Why? b/c people like you don't know how to separate what a nonviolent crime and a violent crime is and how to treat the person instead of screwing a person over for life based on a few mistakes. Ins't it to treat people like you say? SO they don't do it again? Well, that's not how you do things. Forcing people into submission usually doesn't work. You have to give them an understanding.

Now I agree, some poeple do not and will not change for whatever reasons. So, you must deal with it differently for them. But the others that show somewillingness and is a nonviolent crime, I think things should be changed.

When is the last time you or anyone was locked up for a speeding ticket? Sure if you have outstanding warrants, trying to run or drunk driving then yes you deserve to goto jail and be treated like a criminal because the law says you are one by breaking them. I mean think there big mouth before you spout off.

The point and what the majority thinks is that if you did a crime to warrant jail time, it shouldnt be a day at the hilton. ITS JAIL for christ sakes.. in other countries you probably get your hand chopped off for stealing, caned for stealing etc.. and you bitch about what this sheriff is doing..

Damn most law abiding citizens dont have cable tv or even a hot meal at night and you think the little he has cut out is inhumane for CRIMINALS!

Dominoes, no, it could become a weapon, come on man, where do you get your info from? Probably gossip like the rest of these people.

Cable TV? Its not like the inmates can change the channel. Damn, ok, This group wants to watch channel 13, this groups wants to watch channel 24. Don't you think a fight could start over this? Yes, they have cable in the jail/prison, but its the guards who watch it in the break room. Not the fukkin inmates. You make it seem like its just bliss and everybody can watch HBO or go to sleep at 4am or wak up at 12:00pm, etc. Your ass is up at 6 in the morning and you go to bed at like 7. So get this ficticious bullshit out of your head. Next you don't know what time it is anyways. Its not like you have windows to see out of. (depending on where you are). You don't know if its day, night, raining, sunny, etc. You don't know what's going on in the world, you don't see the news, you don't know shit. Oh yea,. and I thought they have cable tv. Don't you think they'd know what's going on outside? They'd love to hear the news. So, NO, they can't put any channels they want to see. Get that lie out of your head.

Telephones? HUh? Its called payphones. And where are you going to get money? You are stripped of your belonging when you go in. So what are you going to find a couple of quaters unerneath your bed? Come on get real. Its collect calls and you have to share with others. Your not the only one there either. So the amount of time your actually out, if you get out, and not eating etc, the chances of you sitting down and having a nice long chat is almost impossible. Usually you get about 2 minutes. Until you start pissing off others and if you piss them off, you'll find you'll be confronted with knives or getting jumped badly. Not high school shit, actually jumped with mothers fukkers who don't give a shit cause no one is leaving for a while...And most of the time the loved ones don't want you calling all the time b/c its expensive. Collect only with the officers taping your every call.

Air conditioning? Your crazy. It depends on where you live. Yea, what would it look like if hundred of people die from heat stroke? Wouldn't look to good for that city. Your supposed to punish not kill him. But the air condition is set at 90 degrees anyway so its not like walking into JC Penny. Have you thought about the winter? Some states drop waaay down. They do not use heaters. it'll be 50 degrees in there from all the men's body heat. So how would you feel with a cloth shirt and pants with no t-shirt or underwear oir nothing and some damned shoes. Then you get a matress that is 1 in thick and you get a sheet for a blanket.

Yea, real comfortable. You almost speak as if you'd like to take a vacation there its so damn nice... So, when are you going to make a reservation?

You are exactly the DOUCHE-BAG that I refered to earlier. We all know that there is corruption in the Jail System. If you got the right hook up, you can get anything you want. I'm not saying I got the hook-up 'cause I've only been to jail twice.....and they both were over-nighters. But the guys who are they for long periods of time as well as the Trusties will bring you CARDS, DOMINOES and just about anything else you would probably want. And yes, I know that the phones are payphones, but since when does that stop you from making a phone call, bitch. Ooohh, that's right you have to have a home phone because yo' Momma won't accept Jail calls from you and yo' Daddy no more. As far as Cable TV goes, just ask the Guard (with some respect) and they'll change it. And the Air-Conditioning...they keep that bitch cold as Anartica in order to keep down the germs.
