since you want to pimp it out dont buy an Excursion if you dont need it!! Get the Yukon, it will tow the bikes just fine.. If your looking to tow a car then I would go with the Excursion!! How the hell do you fers afford that damn thing?!?! I cant find one under $39,000!! around here If I do its gas, and F*** GAS RIGHT NOW!!!

Re: excursion or xl yukon what should i get

I have always been a fan of chevy with the engine bay being pretty big to work on. I feel the resale value is better on the yukon because they added the third bench with adequate space. Plus most excursion carry v10 engines. F*** the gas!!!!!!

Re: excursion or xl yukon what should i get

I must admit that I love my Excursion....besides the obvious expensive gas tank. The Excursion has a 44 gas tank and with prices now-a-days it costs about $70-$75 to fill up. That will last you a good 500+ miles though. If I could do anything different I would have gotten a 4X4. I have the Limited style V10. Don't go for anything less than the V10 if you do get the Excursion.

Re: excursion or xl yukon what should i get

I personally like the xl.. never driven the excusion though. Drove and expedition for awhile... and the xl was way...way better. I like GM products better all around, but the xl had some nice leather and plenty of power. Show us some pics when you get it all pimped out!

Thanks!! Its not actually mine, its a friend of ours! My fiance & his brother built the car for him It is pretty sick, I'm scared of it quite honestly (I wont drive it)... But I love it!! We've a couple others, actually we sold 2 of them already so we are down to one now (he's had about 6-8 foxbodies (convertables, coupes and fastbacks) I get pissed everytime he sells one!! the last one we have is not runnin right now but eventually we'll put sometin in it! when we do it will be my race car!!
