Wreckless in IL - Open Forum

I got a wreckless driving ticket, speeding and improper lane usage for splitting lanes in Dupage Co, IL. An off duty cop got me. Pulled up when I stopped and tapped me on the shoulder. big bummer.

Anyone from IL fight a Wreckless Driving ticket? Did you get a lawyer? What was the out come?

I was never in your situation, but i would def. recommend getting a lawyer. the charges they have on you aren't small!
i think shugg has a good lawyer that he recommends to everyone. you may want to pm him if he doesn't see this thread.

I got a crooked lawyer that can get you off of ANYTHING but infortunately he's only Cook county. I got pulled over a month or so ago for the same thing. Only I did it to an undercover cop. I convinced him to only write me for "improper lane useage" - oh well, guess I give better head than you

You have to have a lawyer for this or you'll be screwed real hard! I had a reckless, cost me $500 for a lawyer and $500 in fines, not on my record!

lawyer is the only way to go!! i got a 12 point ticket here in CO for racing and my lawyer got it down to 4 pooint and $50!!

Thanks for the info. The guy did not even give me a chance to get out of it...talk...head...nothing. I can only think that it was personal. Could he really be that much of an a$$? Can't remeber if he was one of the guys get'n split...whatever.

Anyway...I'm convinced...I will get a lawyer. I will PM shugg.
