I work for the Customer Service Dept of one of the largest Financial Service Companies.

Since I was about 18 I've always wanted to be a Casino Dealer in Vegas!
I'd also like to be a bartender, depending on the bar/establishment.

I've been thinking alot about my employment situation lately, and what I need to do to change it. So I figured I'd ask you guys too. There's been threads about what you currently do for a living before, but why not this?

So, what do you guys do now, and what would you rather be doing?

there is a pretty good job market for dealers right now with all the new casinos opening up every where

im a pipe fitter and i have amature fight coming up (they dont pay much, but they pay).

i would say my dream job is to become a fighter, i just like doing it. my dream job would be involved some big name fight promotion like UFC or WEC, whether it be announcer, trainer, or PR. or i any job that i like doing, pays a lot, has good benefits and lets me make up my own hours.

i could see that job having some pretty low, lows, but on the flip it could have some pretty high, highs.

ya, I plan on calling different casino's around the country, and find out what there requirements are. Dealer schools probably a must, and that's a 6-8 week program I think. Don't know the cost either, but couldn't be too bad, compared to the income I'd be making as a dealer. Finding the first job would be the most difficult, for experience. Around here, there's 1 major casino in tampa, 30 miles and 2 or 3 casino boats, and 2 cruise ships. I'd be willing to relocate if I had some money saved up first.

I want to to be a court officer. I've steadily been working towards it. I figure it's a state job so 20 years and out with a minor pention by then ill be around 40 and go back to school to become a history teacher so ill be mid 40s my kids will be grown and ill have summers off with good benefits and stuff. Guess thats more what im working towards then my dream job.

Dream job would probally be one of the guys on top gear.

Im an assistant manager at a resturant. Nothing special but im 17. Dream job would either be an ama racer, pro stunt rider (making decent money) or one of the guys from top gear.
