Yes I got a fucking fix it ticket on my foot operated bicycle. So at nightish I've been cruising to the end of town and back on my bike. I left a little later than usual tonight. 8:30ish and I'm getting back like 9:20. So it was a little darker than I probably should have rode at. Anyways 5min away from my house and 4 people in all black yelling something so I turned my head and kept riding. 20 sec later I have two bike cops throwing my ass on the ground. Cuffs went on and there both screaming at me...why are you running....why are you running. (Had my ipod on) I said I had an ipod didn't know you were talking to me. His response, maybe it's to loud son. Nope.... Where's your helmet kid. I'm 18 didn't know I needed one. Your correct...do you have your license? Nope it's at home, would you like me to ride home and get it for you. In the cockiest voice I could do. Well I don't know that your 18 then. Call my social in then...nope to much time. Where are you headed...home wanna come? Then he's talking to his other bike buddy telling me how cocky my ass is. Where's you headlight kid? Don't have one. So I get a ticket for that. $15 fix it...then they start telling me how stupid I am for riding the way I do and with no light I'm suicidal. I cut them off in their speech...are you going to arrest me....? If not let me go I have your ticket.

I'm so fucking frustrated right now. FTP!!! :YEAH:YEAHFucking assholes. Uhgggh I feel so much better now. Most of the cops I run into are usually cool. They were right about the light I don't disagree...it's just the way the came at and they were brutal just attacking me left and right. I hope officer richards chokes a dick!

My old roommate got ticket for going 30 mph in a 20 on his bicycle. He was in a big group and they were flying down a huge hill at night with no lights.

AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH! funny storry, you painted a good picture for me! I'd check with any attourney and find out if needing a light is the law, cops lie, and i've never heard that. just reflectors are needed here. the attourney wont cost anything it's just a quick referrence with the law. then if it's not illegal i'd tell the attourney the story and see if there's a way to make a formal complaint about harrassment.

not that $15 is alot of money, but if they tackled you and cuffed you and accused you of running then i'd make a big fuckin deal out of it.

A guy when I was out in oklahoma for some yrs before coming back home to san diego got a ticket and jailed for riding his horse drunk.

I mean, I can understand something in your own power but a horse is an animal and will not just jump off a bridge, run into traffic, etc. he see's the cars, height, danger, etc ahead.



But yea, he got it. They had a sotry in the local papers out there....


They didn't impound the horse though. They had his friend get it as its a small town and everyone knows everyone.
