anybody from or spent some time in santa cruz? some friends and i are planning a weekend trip down there. wondering whats up, beaches, nightlife, etc.

Santa Cruz is cool .. beach - beer - babes ... weekday less crowded than weekends .... hot during the day ... cold at night

i'd hope so. if you can't out wheelie a QX56 then you got problems my friend. lol

well it ranges anywhere from 50 to 100 here, in 24 hours, so not to worried bout that. def gonna be on the beach during the day, any one better then others (we will be there on a weekend unfortunatly).

wer da tight clubs wit shwatys be? LOL

i used to go to santa cruz at least 3 times a year, its cool if you have never been and if you spend any longer than a weekend, you will probably regret it. there are tons of stinky hippies with an occasional hot chick, it actually kinda reminds me of downtown reno (kinda grimey).

the last time i went the night life sucked, but i stayed close to the boardwalk. maybe if you stay closer to the college you might find something to do at night.

you dont have to tell me, i used to live on 4th street in a hotel turned "condos" right behind the sundowner, i said santa cruz is kinda grimey, reno is definately grimey.
