Dude, seriously... re-read what I'm writing. I'm not telling him to go out and buy a firewire anything. I thought his camera supported firewire from the get-go so I told him to go buy Firewire and HD compatible software.

He said he figured it out, he needed to CONVERT the video to recognize as NON-HD raw footage... which I said on Post #11 he should convert it, but I thought most software does it automatically but I was wrong b/c you have to manually convert it or just buy software that recognizes HD and captures in HD.

That's all I was saying... mmmkay!

The Sony software will allow you to edit without converting it but it costs like $800 or some bs like that so thats out. I really havent had a chance to fuck with it since last week but I will later this week so I'll let you know how it goes.
