I was watching the world news and they estimated oil at 200$/barrel by next October? Within a year and a half. I dunno how many of you know what that means but we could be looking at 10 bux a gallon within the next 2 years for for fuckin gasoline in America. What are you guys with big rigs gonna do? Hell what are any of us gonna do when its 25$ to fill a friggin bike?

I'm movin to Canada where I can just ride bicycles down mountains.

The chances of $200 bbl oil are about the same as $50 bbl...I don't believe a word out of these talking heads...the market can't sustain those kind of prices, consumer spending drops..imports drop from the countries that subsidise fuel and can't afford the subsidies anymore...demand falls off a cliff...the price right now is high due to the weakness of the dollar....which unfortunately is only going to get worse the more the government spends and borrows..

Don't worry when hillary clinton gets elected "the bbl will drop 50%" hahhahah....tack on her $1 trillion in new spending and ridiculous environmental controls and new taxes and regulations on the oil companies you won't have to worry about gas because you won't be able to buy a new car.

When the government steps into anything all they do is get in the way...

That was my biggest issue with the predictions. People are sustaining but barely at current pricing. I know just about anyone that doesn't clear 100k+ wouldn't even be able to afford to drive to the grocery store or work at 200/barrel. Then shipping would be so outrageous that a freakin tomato would be upwards of a hundred bucks. lol Its just scary to think about. My grandfather predicted 100$/barrel back in the 80's but no one believed him. [he was in oil and gas] If and on IF oil ever got that high it would kill America, and life as we know it would definitely be over.

I think it's BS and if it's true other kinds of vehicles are on their way out like electric cars and lots more hybrids at lower price. Not everyone needs to buy an electric car to stop the problem. Just speculating about high gas prices above the roof will make a few paranoid buy those cars and the demand for gas in general will drop therefore you don't have to worry about it. Gas prices have been going up for several years now and there have been lots of plans since then for alternate sources of energy.

My idea is that the UN needs to step in against UPEC and tell them that they are creating a crisis/hysteria with their business tactics. The reason the supply/demand is so high is that the companies within UPEC open and close refineries on a frequent basis to keep the SUPPLY minimal and thus keepin the DEMAND high. which in turn keeps gas prices high. end of story.

o and if u ever stop to think about the AFGANISTAN/IRAQ situation its a subliminal message they are sending you. They say its the COALition of freedom..how can u have CO-ALLITION(co alliances..) with one country? they are playin on words to let you know its all about COAL i.e. OIL business. not even close....and it's OPEC

demand is high from emering countries like india and china

us demand has actually gone down...but you can't tell because price is based on the world market and the us dollar which is very weak right now....i think around $1.52 to a euro
