us demand has actually gone down...but you can't tell because price is based on the world market and the us dollar which is very weak right now....i think around $1.52 to a euro

Dollar is real weak, but we buy our oil in USD so we are getting a relative bargain compared to some countries right now. OPEC is talking about making us buy oil in other currancies.

You may be right. It may be a conspiracy theory but you can't say you don't believe that this govt his curropt. dont get me wrong I love this country and wouldnt live anywhere else, but the govt is far from perfect.

And I may be somewhat ignorant on the WHOLE situation but from the few times i get to watch cnn and shit like that I've heard them talk about OPEC(and I may have been a lil off but i thought it stood for United Petroleum Energy Companies.) shutting down production to keep oil supply stagnant. But I never claimed to be an expert. It was just MY IDEA.

Big problem is that there are very few people of younger generations that take the time or give a shit about voting. The older generations keep voting in these worthless ass congressmen, governors and other political people that are doing nothing but getting old wearing diapers and sucking our tax dollars dry. This country needs a fucking wake up call to the younger generation and that is what is happening now! We are paying for not voting and not caring.
