I'm curious if its affecting you guys any. well, Gas out here went up again and is $3.97/gal. I fill up yesterday and it cost me $104.00 to FILL UP!!!!

The oil companies are griping about congress stating that they may be getting too much of a tax write off and would like for them to give bakc to the country. As of today, they have the highest profits ever in history.

Anyhow, the job market is shitty. Kids graduating college will saturate the market and thus make it harder as even they cant find jobs in their fields.

Anyways, are things affecting you any? Have you changed spending habits? Are you cutting back on beer, driving around, or spending on the ol lady?

yes i am so broke now. my truck is for sale and i already sold my dirtbike. i cut back to part time also to concentrate more on my classes so that didnt help either.

I have a diesel and its $4.39 a gal around here its like $5000 to fill it up

Have you noticed the "mexico baja" license plates driving in new mercedes and range rovers, etc? Tons of them. I can not understand that being a citezen of another country where the currency is appx 1/2 the US dollar and they STILL mob in nice vehicles.

But yea, its playing a serious role in my truck guzzlin. What sucks is i am 6'3 or 6'4 and 275lbs. I just can't fit in a little car without being like a contortionist.

I need to be like thew guy in the pic to fit in a little bitty car....

all our jobs are being outsourced to a several countries. One of the largest outsourcing requests are that of india.

I haven't changed my spending habits at all...except for rebuilding my bike...

And diesel is $4.50+ a gallon here and I'm looking to buy a diesel truck in the next couple of months...if that makes any sense.
