StuntMoto game

Hi, I've created a game called StuntMoto, where you are basicly riding around a city and doing wheelies, burnouts and stoppies. It has been in development for some time, and today the first proper version was released.

Re: StuntMoto game

just played it... its fun... i did jump from sit down O's to HC O's to NH O's on my second circle try... hahahaha... but a lot of fun... i need to play with the settings to make it run a little faster, which would also make it a little more challenging though..

only did one reall stoppie try and flipped it

burnouts would be a lot harder if you could fall over...

REALLY good stuff guys!!! i like to see it!!! ill be playing it more...

oh for fun, my first try i scored 6000 something... second try i got 16000 something... im sure that score will get domintaed soon!!!

Re: StuntMoto game

ok might be lil bit different on us keyboards but..

arrow up = accelerate
arrow down = rear brake
arrow left/right = turn left/right
right shift = front brake (handle with care, stoppies are mad hard)
a = shift up
y = shift down
x = sit back on seat
c = make a highchair
v = make a no hander

Re: StuntMoto game

Nawitus you are the MAN! Definately way cool, I've already played for about an hour. Keep at it man, you can definately make some big bucks doing this, and have a lot of fun.

Now for some constructive critisism.

#1 Level design. I constantly found myself running into the buildings. Possibly you could design a nice big open warehouse or even an xdl style pad.

#2 Lean angle, definately could have used more of it. Locking in after about 10 degrees of rotation takes away from the difficulty of actually having the bike with a free range of motion. I don't know much about your programming. But if you could design the engine with the sense that if the bike was not moving, it would fall over on itself, this would work great for getting into circles, as you could give a bit of lean and then ride the brake and the bike would dip it, in order for you to catch it you'd have to hit the gas and keep it from lowsiding. This alone would surpass any bike physics engine currently available. It's a simple concept, but nobody has grasped it yet.

3. Rpm noise and engine brake.. a simple "putt putt putt" won't quite do it.. as well as letting off the gas and while there was a little, not enough engine brake was in the game. I love how you got the clutch implemented though.

4. Tricks. staggered, seat stander.. we need some standup tricks.

Overall man you're doing awesome! Keep up the good work, I'm impressed!
