From what one of the broadcasters were stating, the reporters are afraid to do anything. The people who were doing something was the sherriffs and several of them had been killed.

Its a weird and sticky situation. They were stating that more people have been kidnapped down there than in the Iran Hostage Crisis in the 80s.

Why the news picks and chooses certain stories, its the media.....They know people in the public are fragile. They have to give one sided views on everything if they choose to even air it...

my good buddy killed a home invader two months ago in Austin TX.
