How can I reinforce this? Suggestion box open. - Open Forum

Hey, help me reinforce this. I put this together last night and its pretty solid now for the empty tank. I was planning on ordering a reptile but haven't decided on whom I want.

But I plan on keeping the stand a while so I wanted to reinforce it for when I DO want to put more saltie fish back in. I have another running so 2 is not a big priority. A salt water tank this size full of water and decor in it will weigh appx 700lbs.

So how would you reinforce it to make it a little more sturdy? If its too much trouble I can buy a stand but a good one will run about $250.

But building yourself removes doubt for me. Just lkike working on your own bike or vehicle.

So what do you think?

i would just do it on the bottom, that is the most important spot

Put braces between the legs and the top of the stand in triangle shape. Box in the legs at the bottom.

Yea pretty much like that except put the extra sheet of plywood on the bottom so its on the bottom of the stand.
