RIP.... Damn! - Open Forum

I was sitting on 95 in gridlocked traffic, trying to get off at the next exit when a cop car comes up the left shoulder followed by at least four fire trucks, two fire and rescue suvs.

Well, I get home and read this. Less than a mile later down the road.....

I'm getting my police science degree right now to become a deputy when I turn 21, so this was a big shock and defiantly alot of upset in the community....

I'm rather hoping you won't respond with "FTP" at least this once. Crazy how I just saw this guy go by me on the left, and then a mile or so later he's DEAD.

yeah shits crazy.... i was at the lake last year and a guy jumped off a boat into like 7ft of water and drowned... i watched as they did cpr n him for 30min all while his 3yr old son played in the sand next to him.... goes to show, you never know when its your time

I'm hardly EVER in an FTP thread. I've never had trouble with the cops, and I've been busted for wheelies, anything you name it... splitting cars.... whatever. and I've always wanted to become a deputy.

Can you become a LEO with a reckless driving on your record? Multiple recklesses?

Reason I ask is that I just got one (96 in 65, BS) and the sops told me that in addition to losing my concelaed handgun license and the pistol I was carrying at the time, I would be disqualified from eligibility for a career in law enforcement.
