If ya got a legit problem and you can use that shit to manage pain, then more power too ya, but once you start chewin them up, or snorting them, or worse. Then youv'e got a problem for sure.... It's all about getting fucked up then, and not just managing your chronic pain. I know from experience too, and Iv'e seen and heard of several people get fucked up and end up in rehab, cuz they started abusing shit... I take my medicine as directed,and I never have any problems at all, skip a day no shakes and shit or "jones'n" feelings, and that is after years ..... dependency is different than addiction but 22 a day.....WOW!! I could never take that many, and my body is constantly givin me the finger too...(I don't get perscribed Lori-tabs though too, theyr'e shitty, weak, and matastasized through the liver as well...)...... 22 per day....that was just excessive and wasteful honestly... You should be proud of yourself man.... | |

| Re: Pain killers!!!! The 22 a day was like the most I had taken. Hell I liked the Lora tabs more. That Tylenol is horrible on your liver. I had a problem with crapping for a minute. I had started taken them for my back then started to like them. That's how it all started. LOL.... I can't touch the stuff. I abuse it all.

THEN I flipped my gix bak n march n brole my bak n 2 places got off the Dones tho but on oxys 4 awhile now I take perkacet 10s I was eatn em like candy at work just 2 not hurt no buzz whatsoever. like 2 weeks ago my pain dr put me on duragesic pain patches witch r heavenly 4 real pain but now my 2 best buds r strung out on pills and hound me constently whats fukd is I cant live w/o em because my bak hurts they cant live w/o em cuz now they cant get outa bed with out one. I can shit(sorr just venting on my situation but i used 2 be like that it suks) I do snort a morphene tho every once n a while 2 get a buzz. BTW Ive been riden 4 the last 3 monthes and rocked my ist whooly since the wreck 2 DAY  after bein n that hospitle 4 3 weeks n not walking for bout a month @days ride was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

 | Re: Pain killers!!!! I never understood why people like vikes or oxy and stuff like that . I felt like crap and felt like doing nothing at all when i tried vikes . I had a friend lose his job because of oxys . He took them before work and it slurred his speech and someone told on him . He is an alcoholic too and likes to drink and pop pills . He isn't taking them for of legitimate reasons or for body pain . He gets them from a friend , and i can tell when he is on them . It changes your personality . I'm afraid he will not wake up one day . At times i feel like his mom when i have to tell him he should stop . But what i say to him goes in one ear and out the other . When you lose friends because of drugs , it changes your mind about the things you do and the effects they cause .

i hear that man! I lost a very good friend of mine to pharmies this summer and it's not cool. The part that bums me out tha most bout it is the way peeps talk bout him and how he passed. There is nothing glorious or even sympathetic bout dying from an overdose. It's just plain avoidable and stupid. But he tought alot of people around here to respect themselvs a lil' more. Brought some light to a problem that pleauges alot of young peeps round here and prooved that just cause they are somwhat leagall does not at all mean that they are safe for recreational use! | |
