OK, this thread is dedicated to answer every known question known to man. The only prob is that we are hindered by the "limited" individuals. BUT, they may know something the scholar, the doctor, the business man, etc may not.

So to start this if you can't answer it, so be it. Go ahead and ask a question and someone here will answer tha damn thing.

why do batteries skip the "B" size? You have A's, double A's, D's, etc....Where's B?

Answer it or ask another question...

A while ago there used to be a B battery or devices called vaccuum tubes which performed the same functions. In order to operate, tubes required two voltages: a low voltage to operate the "filament", or "heater", which generated heat necessary for the tube to operate, and a high voltage which actually did the work. The low voltage battery in portable radios was called the "A" battery. The high voltage battery was called the "B" battery.

You can't find B batteries anymore because there is no need for them.
There were both sized A and B batteries but they were made for portable vacuum tube radios and with the advent of the transistor it has made size A and B batteries obsolete.
There are B sized batteries.

They stopped producing them back when my grandma was hip.

B Batteries = are freakishly large and was the standard battery for radios then. They are 67.5 volts of power.

all life evolved from single celled organisms, which are also still here. just because we evolved doesnt mean the older species have to die out... we simply diverged from the apes and filled our own niche and at a certain point mating was no longer possible between early hominids and the apes which they evolved from. why would they have to die out because we evolved?

A better question is:
Why one species of apes only did indeed evolve?
And why there's so much of an evolutionary step among apes and humans,
woudln't have it been possible to have differently evolved species, like a complete staircase?

reproduction, genetics, and geography. read up on natural selection, the science behind it is pretty compelling.

your ideas on evolution are way off what most scholars believe. its not accurate to think that apes changed into humans, a more accurate view would be that humans evolved away from apes. the fossil record shows just about every step of this evolution from the earliest form of hominids over 2 million years ago into our current state homo sapiens sapiens only 250,000 years ago.

i never said harry the ape became harry the human, overnight! i just stated IMO that harry the ape is still harry the ape, might have evolved some,but harry the ape is harry the ape. humans are still humans.
