well, using it anyways. The FCC ( Federal Communications Commision) says " it is illegal to use cell phones on a plane effective today."

Before it was during take off and landing that you could not use phones. Well, now its during the entire flight. They say its due to the interference it may cause and make it dangerous.

But guess what. HOW ABOUT A GLITCH. The FAA ( Federal Aviation Administration) says " Cell phones and other elctronic devices are not on the same frequency and thus cannot interfere. And the FCC has "insufficient technical information" available on whether airborne cell phone calls would jam networks on the ground."

So there you go. You now can't use phones that have no proven effect on the flights communication.

they dont work once youre up in the air anyway dude. no skin off anyones back here

my phones cool cuz u can turn off individual features (phone, bluetooth,wifi, ect..)

Once you are in the air I can understand, but once you are on the ground and on the taxi way... who cares?

I use different airlines several times each year ,and there has never been a problem with using the phone while taxiing on the runway. But once your up in the air theres no service/signal anyways. they always just say to turn off your phone. But yeah i guess ,its something they dont want to take for granted if by some odd chance the cell signal interferes with the plane instruments and shuts off an engine or something ,why would they want to risk that?
