I had made a thread asking everyone on their opinion on whether or not to continues school after my child is born in August. I received many honest opinions from alot of people and I thank them for it.

But one that really pissed me off and a few others is this one from BIKERBOY, Read it and tell me whether or not you would be insulted by what he wrote.

Sorry pal, your days are of playing and experioementing are done. Most people figure that a child is the WORST thing that can happen to a new graduate. Its too time consuming, stressful, etc.

Man, your man enough to have kids, nmow go take care of it. Get a job bro. Just get a job and start paying off laons, and set your life up for children.

You're not a free bachelor to do what you want. No wife, no kids, nothing. That is the greatest feeling while your young.

No use crying over spilled milk. That chance is gone.

You're a big boy now and have a fmaily, its time to go to work..... and start saving for its college, its future, have a JOB for its medical treament so it comes out of your benefits, etc.

Be a man. Work, go home, and spend time with the kid. That is how things work. Not get home, work a shitty job, study, not have time for the kid b/c you can't fail and your wasting time,. etc.

Grow up my man.

Be a DAd and not a young bachelor. Most young dudes who have their degree, get working, flaunt with the ladies, have nights out, and do their thing. You decided to settle down before you could experience the true adult free night life of no attachments.

So throw all those freedom ideas out the window.

You have a child. Be there for it. She depdns on you to make smart decisions and this ain't one of them.

Its too late.

Just work, and provide for your family.

welcome to the real world.

Your not going to have time to wipe your ass.

And give the wife a break too. she's been with the kid ALL DAY. After work your too tired and now you have to mess with a kid too.

hope she doesn;t make you start selling all your toys off to provide for the baby.... Its usually known that's what happens after a baby is born.

Good luck Mr. Dad... You need as much free time as you can get. No more school. That's done.... you are about to have a kid. And they AREN'T CHEAP. And it'll be on you for the next 20+ yrs....

i dont see whats offensive about that. granted i merely skimmed through it, but the man speaks the truth...
unless of course what youre offended by is the hypocrisy of a black man telling you how to raise a child

The way he worded it was totally out of line. Im not saying what he is saying is wrong, Im just saying that how he responded and acted like being a 21 year old dad is a horrible thing and my life is over with.

yea, thats bikerboy though. he really genuinely thinks he can make a difference for what he believes is good/right. unfortunately he tries to make a difference with long winded, didactic, holier-than-thou posts on forums like these and its not really helping anyone...

i dont have a problem with him at all. i was just trying to tell gswitch, what bikerboy was trying to say probably came out differently than he intended.

BTW, for me, this is online. I take it for what it's worth, but 99.999% of the time you have to play off on the anomonimity of being online, and people being rash. So if you don't like what someone has to say, ignore them, scroll down, or in my case, I can ban'm:YEAH

Come on man, I spoke truth. But from my perspective. maybe a little long, I admit, and maybe a little harsh but that's me. Go to a drill Sergeant and be soft you know. I take it as tough love. I don't wish for our bro to go down. I am looking out for his kid and stated he needs to start providing not for the now, but for the future of his child.

As everyone knows:

1. raising a kid isn't a cake walk
2. you have to plan and save money for the future where as being single with no attachments, hey, live day to day if you wish.
3. you can't take risks like you normally would being single and having no kids.

that's it. Yes, I made it long, but when have I ever, yrs back, made ANYTHING short.

He claims I am a "bad evil shit talking man" but how about those people who i did do shit for on this site? Hmm? How about the people I have met?

Picking people up that were stuck? Hmmm. How about like beto said, writing his class report for free? he's not the only one by any means. Hmm, how about and so on. I always help people.

I am just assuming he's taking it the wrong way. Maybe he's not used to tough love. That's all. You know me, I've been around this long and not a hunter of harrassing folks, esp when an innocent being, a child, is involved.
