wow, i would just have disregarded it... it almost sounds like he was saying the baby was anything but a blessing...sure the timing is not right, and i may not like kids, but they are a blessing for those who do want them and decide to keep them. congratulation. it's hard work, but i hear it's worth it in the end

you can and should continue school after the baby is born...my dad waited until we were born to finish his degree, it was the BEST thing he ever did. it was hard, and my mom worked her butt off and we spent lots of time with grandma and grandpa, but the money he makes now more than makes up for and he was able to give us a great life and many opportunities we wouldn't have otherwise had.

Why do you keep saying that people always choose to have kids young? I didn't plan any of mine. I know it's my fault for not taking the proper precautions but birth control is not 100%. Anyways I think your argument would be a little more valid if everyone chose to have kids but the truth of the matter is the majority of people in this world were not planned.

Next, you cannot just up and get a masters. No matter how many classes you take. It depends on the professors accepting you to represent HIM.

Long winded or not, its my choice. And what of it. Who cares.

Youre a young father, and you nor he, can EVER CONVINCE me, and just about anyone else here, that raising and taking on the responsibility is "easy".

Also you cannot, in respect to someone at 30y/o, with a loving spouse and long term careers, is just as ready and able to raise a child in the same abilities as a kid who just got out of college, has no job in his career, and so on. Sorry, not buying it and any moneky with a brain would uncderstand this as well...

You said your kid was unexepcted? well, you did have to lay with someone and her to conceive. You lay with a dog, and you get fleas. In other words, you did it, took the risk, and badabing. Good for you, you put a wrench in your future. Its your life, get on with it. Don't hate on other b/c they are nto in your position. You may love your child, and you should, but you can't say that things are now easier now that the child is present.

Don't hate on me b/c I said its more suitable to have a child later on in life when one is ACTUALLY ready. Not a bunch of mistakes.

I thought it was disregarded in all honesty. I totally forgot about it. Then it came up in a thread about his harrassing my posts, etc. His explanation along with another was " they sort of agree but did not like the manner in which I stated what I did"

Like, come on. He has much more pressing issues than to look for threads and do his vengence.


As for finishing school, he already graduated. I stated he shoudl get a REAL job, with benefits, that way he can use the health care package, dental care, etc for the gril, he, and more importantly the baby. he hollers hippy to myself but yet, if he has no benefits, no job with his degree, etc, his girl isn't making huge dough and is heavily preganant, and no hard core savings, how do you think he's going to pay for this? A girl I know stated this to me "well about $15000 w/out insurance. but with my insurance i only pay 2K"

This means me, you, and everyone who works is going to pay for his baby out of our tax dollars so she can give birth. he will BE the hippy welfare recipeint. I just think, if your a man, you pay for your own. This includes your children.


If he wants to dilly dally with classes do it at night or on the side of the real job. He stated the classes would have no effect on his finanical future. Nor has he been petitioned by Professors to get his masters.

My opinion, for what its worth, he's afraid to man up and go into the real world. Whether he admits it or not. True or not, that is my perception.

Oh well. Only so much you can do.

Good, but fact of the matter is, most everyone other than you 3 know raising a child is hard. Its going to be tough financially, stress wise, and physically. esp being that 20-21yrs old.

Your feet haven;t even gotten wet in the real world. You may think your a big shot, but oh well. You'll see. And don't get jeolous, or bitter, when you see that family in the brand new car, virtually zero debt, and their perfect little children. They worked hard in life, planned ahead, and made sound decisions.


I believe YOU should pay for your own kids healthcare, birthing bills, sicknesses, etc. Not my tax dollars b/c your lazy and don't want a career oriented job with benefits, and wish to take more classes.

You want classes, go to work full time in a real job with the degree, and take your classes and have fun. You can take them for the next 50yrs. but its on YOUR dollar.

So now YOU pay for your kid, you pay for your classes, etc.

Other than that, I believe I stated enough, my viewpoints are mine, and they will stand. Your not going to change my mind, and I probably won;'t change yours.

I think you need to seriously evaluate your situation and make moves that are right. Mistakes and poor decisions are very costly in life.

You should do the right thing and keep your babies medical bills in your own pocket and not ours, the public.
