Re: parents and bikes...

my parents never really said anything, but seeing as how my dad gave me the loan to buy my first bike, I'd hafta say they aren't entirely opposed to it. But yeah, I do my best to ride responsibly so as to prevent as much unrest as I can.

I hope they don't find out I want to stunt it. I mean, they know i watch these vids and shit, but I told them "A bike is an investment, they sell for close to there MSRP when mint, And i don't wanna mess mine up, and lose my investment." hope it works!

the only bike that MIGHT be considered an investment is a harley. sportbikes are most definately not... you drop it once, say bye bye to a few grand. couple years old, the new model comes out, youll be lucky to get half of msrp. just look around, its not hard to see

Re: parents and bikes...

My dad always wanted me to start riding since i was little kid he always brought me to bike shows nd put me on the back of his harley. so he was all for me to start getting a bike to ride. so i started lookin at sportbikes with him and always showed him the one i wanted. my father told me hed buy me a harley but i was like fuk that nd i wanted a gixxer. so about last september my father talked my mom into the idea of getting me to ride and they brought me to the dealership that had the gixxer i wanted and showed it to them 1nce more then the next day they brought me there and they were like which 1 was it nd it wasnt there so one of the sales man took me outside and was like i think i got 1 like the 1 u were lookin at and when he brought me outside he threw me the keys and was like someone mustve been a good kid and my my parents were just like be careful and its yours. the funny thing is though when we were inside when my dad was sighnin the papers i think they were watching a starboyz video.
