Great points, except that cigarettes, booze, and coke has more than likely already ruined the whole kidney, liver, heart, etc. So whats a little creatine gonna hurt?

Straight leg deads, but 275 for 3, cept I cheated a bit inadvertantly. It's too much weight for me, I just tried to do it anyways.

I know those numbers are low. Keep in mind that's straight leg though, I've never even done regular dls

Most gyms won't allow cameras, but I can assure you I'm not lying.

Re: Whadda you bench?

Let me rephrase: Golds Gym won't allow cameras

And in addition, I'd have posted up much more respectible numbers if I weren't telling the truth. 225 for 3 is embarrassing. This may discourage people who aren't there yet, and I never really understood this at first either, but I find, and most of my friends find, that when you're capable of doing a certain weight. It's no longer good enough. I always thought 200 lbs was the shit when I could only do 175, then, at 200, 225 was awesome. Now I know that even 300 isn't that great, but I sure would like to get there. When I finally do, 315: get those 3 plates on there...etc.

Re: Whadda you bench?

deadlift 365, stiffleg deads (SLDL) at 315x6

i use false grip too, it helps keep the weight off your wrists (broke my wrist in 00 and had to use this) and ive sprained them a bunch of times so using regular grip puts too much stress on the bones and can force them to separate (push from each other)

Ok maybe not many can do twice their weight. Maybe jsut b/c of the ppl I am friends with I see it more than most. But a guy benching 225 that weighs 150 shouldn't be a "rarity". And no offense not trying to be mean but why don't you try breathing in your pic. Might look a little more natural

I've found the best way to increase your max is to actually gain weight. About creatine, I've been on it a few times and it just shoots your cardiovascular to hell. I usally run 5-10 miles and when I was on creatine I could barely do a mile.

Not smoking anything but thanks- I can name 4 ppl off the top of my head that can bench twice their weight but anyway. Yeah all bodybuilders eat before they begin to cut to get stronger.

Re: Whadda you bench?

Putting 3 plates on the bench is such a good feeling. Hopefully in the next year I will be adding my fourth plate, but I don't think it will be natural.

That's just what I look like; my genetics gave me flat traps. I put it up because I thought the eyes looked like something out of Doom 3. It was completely unedited. I may throw a different one up later when I'm unoccupied by other stupid shit I get myself involved in.
But...in anycase.
You make it sound like this stuff is a walk in the park. And if you really could do 150, congrats, that's pretty good for the fairer sex. But let me ask you? Did you weigh 100lbs? Not unless you were 4 foot 8 I submit. I don't know how tall you are, but I'd guess your body weight was in the 130's or 140's at the time. So, to implicate what you're saying, you should be able to bench 210-280? I'm also willing to bet you couldn't even lift that much weight off the rack.
I'm not trying to be mean to you either, and I don't know your friends, or if they're really as strong as you claim, but from experience, I know that most people at the gym aren't even as strong as I am, and my numbers are not impressive. The general population can't even bench one time their bodyweight.

You can do it. I always talk my friend up. Maybe because he's too humble, but he can put on 4, and it draws attention from everywhere in the gym. It's not super high, but it's something we don't see a lot in our gym. The bar starts to flap some when he picks it off the rack at that point...cool stuff.

Re: Whadda you bench?

150grl im guessing you have alot of friends who are very short with short arms and a good size chest. i have lifted with a guy "big dan" who due to his porportions only had to move the bar about six inches to complete a rep. he could use tremendous amounts of weight due to his proportions. i have long arms on a 6'2 frame and have to move the bar nearly 2 feet. because of my proportions i will struggle doing 215 6 times on incline where he could warm up with that. plus some people are just naturaly strong. but im guessing at least 3 of the 4 people your thinking of are very stubby (medical term) or "on the juice"

Re: Whadda you bench?

the biggest bench ive seen is by a friend of mine robb. he does strongman compitions, including the latest national in atlanta (gnc show of strength). he will put 455 on flat bench and pump out 8 perfect form, squatting over 700, and he will do 225 for reps on shoulder press. its amazing watching him work out.

Good call. I've seen the same on both accounts. Personally, I don't envy people that can lift big weight, but have a ROM of only a few inches. The strongest girl I've seen bench, moved 175 for about 4 inches...

Re: Whadda you bench?

Forgot to add: People that either bounce it, or in reference to the recent incline press comment. Personally, I go down to the base of my neck/upper chest. I've seen dingbats barely go down to their foreheads. And others, that arch their backs so much, it turns into a flat bench.

As an aside, my incline is sorely lacking
