The doctors have removed the cancer. I just hope it dosen not come back . my mother dose not have Insurance, or a job. She has been on disability since my dad died when i was 6 years old. She also supports and takes care of my grandmother, she is 86 years old and lives with my mother .

My aunt just got diagnosed with bone cancer - doesn't look good. I know what its liek to have cancer close to home.

The crew I ride with holds a end of season party every year. This year we had over 200 people show up, and donated $2000.00 to the Canadian Cancer Society. :YEAH

If you don't have $$ but do have a computer you never shut off and an internet connection....

go to www.grid.org and download thier program. it crunches numbers to find a cure for cancer while your computer isn't being used!

My computer has donated 26,280 hours of computing to help the cause!

My God be with you! I too have watched my Mother battle breast cancer. . .it's heart wrenching! Just be there for her, even the small things can mean a lot. Like laying in bed with her while she goes through chemo. I can't help but to cry as I write this. . . I remember all the fear I felt ,and still feel. I am so scared she will have a reoccurance. I don't know what we would have done with out her health insurance. The surgery itself is a grip, and she definitly needs to do on going treatments as well. Ie: chemo and radiation. Reach out to as many people as possible! Oh I know you said she is on disability, but you should try for state assistance. It can at least help a little. Also read up on it, it can bring some comfort to know facts, and also to read what other people do how have been touched by cancer in some way. You both are in my thoughts!

so sorry to hear about your mom...i can only IMAGINE the pain and fear you must feel; my mom and i are really close and i literally do not know what i would do without her in my life.

Sorry to hear about your mother bro. I to have witnessed the horrible affects that cancer has on the human body. I lost my granmother earlier in the year. I said then that I would donate to a charitible orginazation that helps fight cancer. If you can post an address that people without credit cards can send money to I will surely donate what I can to help your mother.

I"ve lost an uncle, and aunt, and a grandfather to cancer, and my mother had it on her rgiht arm a few years back.

A guy i know's dad had it bad, and I remember my friend telling me about what it was like to see him holding his hand out and asking my friend's to open the his beer, but his hand was empty.
