Re: New Helmets??

I was checking out those Scorpion helmets at the motorcycle show. I like them.... Especially at half the price of an arai... May cop one of those.

They were extremely light... and the company claims that they are made out of the same materials the $500 helmet boys make theirs out of. And the inner padding fit perfectly and was snug yet soft...

They could use a few more designs... But other than that THey're cool.

I'm sure they beat like a Vega or Bieffe or something like that.

http://www.motorcyclegearreview.com/...php?prodID=852

i found these reveiws on em and i didnt read through all of them myself but me personelly dont think that the price should be a deciding factor on buying a helmet but then again if all you have is 2hundred and you got to buy somthing i dont know i might go with a hjc cuz they been around longer if im not mistaken

It may not be a deciding factor... but it certainly factors in. The price is a bonus.... and I'm sure they'll skyrocket once they have established themselves.

I've had serious wrecks in a $400 Shoei and in a $100 HJC... both held up just fine.

Comfort and fit are usually my deciding factors.

Anyone ever notice how cool the word "factor" sounds. I like that word. It has become my word of the day.

Factor.

Re: New Helmets??

So is style your deciding factor? or are you factoring in the fact that the company is so new and Arai is tried and true?

Those helmets look pretty tight and at a decent price. Those designs and color schemes match my bike.I found a dealer not to far from me. Im going to try it on and see how it fits instead of buying it online.

FYI...That guy who tossed that cup at ron artest is probably hate'n life right about now. News crews showing up at his house, people talking about him on the radio. He was also banned from the palace.

Re: New Helmets??

Anyone know when the 05 Arai's come out? I need a new Signet GTR and don't like the plain or old designs. I wanted this one but it's discontinued.

That's retarded! New cars come out in like September fo the new year. Why do bikes and related gear wait until Freaking March?! I need a new one now and don't want to get a plain one or an old design.
