LC engines are more stable in temperature, and may better cope with heat and torture from stunting.

Re: AC (air cooled) vs LC (lequid cooled)

i think ac is better
1. no overheating while burning tyre
2. no overheating while doing long wheelies or slow stunts
3. its ligther then lc

how do you figure no overheating? are you saying liquid cooled does overheat? liquid cooled would operate cooler in all those circumstances i would think, doing a burnout in air cooled would have no airflow over the motor causing the motor to heat up quicker whereas liquid at least has cooler fluid keeping it cool for a bit.

edit: i don't know about scooters, but the only aircooled bikes in the states mass produced anymore are some of the harleys. liquid cooled is much better.

Re: AC (air cooled) vs LC (lequid cooled)

yes but the 50cc does not have a fan on the radiator.. and if u wheelie there is no airflow and it goes hot very fast.. when my engine was stock after 4-5minutes stuntin the scoot start to lose power.. only if u add some fan (from computer) like me there will be no problem with the wheelies :D

AC:
1. overheating while burning tyre
3.Radiator have just some kg...Is not a big diference...

And you can put on a 50cc a fan from a Runner 125/180...Or complet cooling sistem from 125/180

read more about 2 stoke scooter engines

simple: the piaggio or minarelli engines *ac / lc are the same but the crankshaft spind and the water pump (on the lc engines) >> and whats heppands? the engines are the same.. everything is the same..

Minarelli LC engines push a higher compression ratio, modified inlet airways, they're basically made to put more power out.

Anyway there's our scooter guru on the way.. expect him to unfold some truth about the matter.

Re: AC (air cooled) vs LC (lequid cooled)

Liquid Cooling systems are simply more reliable compared to an AC one:
It allows for a better temperature control, without sudden temperature peaks : the infamous power loss due to overheating is simply resolved
one of the many electric pumps ( Stage6 has just released a new badass pump, www.stage6.fr ).
Dismantle your original water pump and use the electric one:
You've just solved your problem.

For what concerns low-speed stunts, what's the deal?
even with HEAVY modded engines, you just add/change your radiator.
the Malaguti Phantom F12 one fits perfectly under your footrest.

oil pump ? it's **** !

any ac engine can't dissipate most healt.. after few minutes the engine lose much power..

the lc don't absorb power that an ac lose...

No AC engine is able to dissipate all of the heat.. after few minutes the engine will lose much power..

On the other side, the LC system doesn't absorb all the power that an AC would lose...
