The ramps are like 10 bucks each at walmart. Skateboard ramps.

Yep, also can be found at Bmx shops, Real cheap, plastic but pretty sturdy.

Any sort of decline will soften any landing.
But to answer your question,
It does... These guys were still over shootin it and landing in the flats. From watchin, it looked like when they did hirt the landing ramp it look softer.
