I have never seen a suzuki frame from 96-03ish break. I have seen the subframe mounts either split or break off. I have a 905 cage that I welded a piece of 1" flat to the tube that goes thru the top engine bolt area. I made it long enough to reach the passenger pegs and drilled 2 holes. It takes a little time to line everthing up before you weld, but well worth it, nearly all the stress is removed from the 2 lower subframe bolts.
