Thumbs up Anti-Slosh Fuel Tank Foam

Hey guys,

I have some EvoMx streetbike anti-slosh fuel tank foam kits available for $57.95 plus shipping. The foam will improve bike handling and only takes up 1% of tank volume. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up!

=)

Re: Anti-Slosh Fuel Tank Foam

WOW! what a dream product! I know the fuel sloshing around makes my bike so hard to handle it's like riding behind a semi unless the tank is topped off all the way. I bet this would fit great in my dented tank too.

The foam comes as 2inx2in cubes so it fits easily into any tank, dented or not

And the advantage of having foam in your tank is.....? I know the draw back is that it will take longer to fill the tank.

It's underpowered and WAYto muc fun to be street legal. I keep hittng train tracks at 55 to get a little bit of air, and making "short cuts" across lawns. 50 MPH down washboard dirt roads with a passenger is fun too.

idk how underpowered relates to fun but I'll take your word for it

I am seriously so stricken with this bike though... It's between that and a zx10 for a second bike sometime in the next couple of seasons. What kind of top speed does the zx10 have? Have you heard anything about the longevity of the motors?

And as far as it being too fun for the streets... that's what I'm afraid of. At least if I have to "evade" I can hit some dirt or sidewalks where applicable.

Re: Anti-Slosh Fuel Tank Foam

No, it doesn't take longer to fill your tank because the foam is extremely porous.

A gallon of gas weighs 6.25 pounds: the sloshing effect can make your fuel feel 3 times as heavy as it really is.... So depending on your tank capacity, it will make a noticeable difference. All the racers use it, it would only make sense that the stunt community would see the benefits as well.

It basically comes down to physics, so if you're not into the science of how your bike handles, it might not be something you would understand

You're a woman... physics is neither cooking nor cleaning so I don't see how you yourself could understand it.

Despends on what kind of riding you plan on doing. I bought the drz for my 45 MPH speed limit drive to work. The bike SUCKS on the highway, or any time you have sustaine speeds over 60 MPH or so. Around town it can't be beat. I am still working on building up the balls to late brake into 90 degree turns as far as the DRZ can handle. It's 295 pounds and turns better than anyhing I have ridden. Really quick up to 60, then falls on it's face. I keep lookng o shift it into a non existant 6th gear too. Going to get a big bore and stroker kit for it once I pay it off.

The techs I know said it's the same motor as the z400, which I see as a plus due to the large amount of aftermarket that may provide...

I have a BSME (bachelors of science in mechanical engineering) from one of the top 10 private engineering schools in the country. The formula for kinetic energy has been burned into my brain forever, and I will go on record saying your product fixes a "problem" that doesn't exist. As far as "jacking" your thread, Nags wuld have deleted it as spam anyway so you should thank me for giving it a chance at not getting deleted now that it has entertainment value. Thank you drive through.

Re: Anti-Slosh Fuel Tank Foam

it's such a tough choice between this and a zx10... the drz is cheaper, more uncommon, and it has the offroad ability. The 10 on the other hand will be stupidly fast, but I will be tempted to just do wheelies and bullshit on it the same as I do on my f4i, which makes me feel like I'd be just as well with my stuntbike only.
