FS: 929 How much?

I'm having some problems selling my bike, even during the summer time. I was just wondering what everyone thought I should have it priced at? He's my ad:

I have a 2001 929 I'm selling. It has 12,??? miles on it. A rebuilt-salvage title which means you don't have to have it inspected cause it's already been done. Bike is all black with a small amount of platinum pearl. The frame, subframe and forks are polished. Art exhaust and -1 front sprocket.

It's not a show bike but it still looks great. It runs good I just can't ride more than one bike at a time and this one feels a lot different than my gsxr so I never got used to it and never ride it.

Re: FS: 929 How much?

Isn't a salvage title and rebuilt salvage title basically the same thing? Like you buy a bike with a salvage title after it's wrecked then fix it, get it inspected then you have a rebuilt salvage title? That's what I thought?

A local guy bought an all stock (except nos) 929 with a salvage title for $3900 so I priced mine at $3700 and have been telling most people I'd drop it to $3400.

What about it makes it look rough? It's not going to **** me off, I just want to know in case it's something I don't mind fixing.

Re: FS: 929 How much?

Id say to sell that this time of year, in canada 2000CDN would be about right.. maby get offered 1800?

your bike looks rough-- omr pointed it out for you.

Could try listing it as 'best offer" and see what you get.

Man 3900 is extremely steep for a salvage titled bike, i bought mine with a clean title and the thing was mint for 4000 good luck with the sale

I would part in out if I were you. It will take longer to get all the cash but I think you could make a little more doing it that way.

Re: FS: 929 How much?

my buddy sold his clean 02 954 with clear title for 3400.00 last month. he just couldnt sell it so the first reasonable offer he took and unfortunelty it was only 3400.00. i think i saw a tear come out of his eye.

Re: FS: 929 How much?

Well I was worried for a little bit. The paint is new, you can see yourself in everything that was polished, I had the seat off cause I hardly ride it and disconnect the battery. I have the ram air tubes I just didn't like how they looked so I left them off along with the front and rear turn signals. What powder coating are you talking about? The clutch cover? Wheels? I guess that's a bad pict to really show anything off. The swing arm is really shitty looking tho cause the last guy only started polishing it and didn't finish it.

Re: FS: 929 How much?

BIG RED...first thing first, this is stuntlife so ur always gonna get lowballers, were stunters that cant afford **** and lookn to sell, buy, trade so we keep our bikes going and our passion alive. Second like old man roger said its got some flaws, but 929 and 954 come and go on here, sometimes people dying to get one other times u cant give them away..Third put a price on there and see what kind of responce u get...good luck with ur sale...

Re: FS: 929 How much?

I know, that's why I posted it on here cause most people that are looking for a bike online are like that. It's actually a decent looking bike, I just didn't realize that it didn't look that way in the pict so I'll hopefully be able to take some better picts soon and get those up.
