F/S: 2001 Honda CBR 929 RR Erion Racing Edition KC, MO area
Asking 4200. 2001 Honda CBR 929RR Erion Racing edition 18k miles. New stator, brand new gold X-Ring Chain with 520 sprocket conversion, Freshly changed oil, brake fluid has been flushed, new rear pads, brand new Michelin pilot powers front/rear, new battery, new NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, and the suspension has been tuned.
The bike bogs down fairly bad in 1-3k RPM range and there’s some wrong with the electrical on the bike (the headlight and taillight do not turn on, the throttle and electrical are believed to both be caused by the same thing), Jason at KC Sportbike thinks it’s either some sorta electrical thing in the rear, a bad ground, or the flux capacitor (he’s an awesome dude and can fix/repair the issue). The bike has been wrecked before, the severity I am unsure of – The title is in hand and is clean/clear. It could probably use a new upper fairing and a re-wire of the brake light because right now it’s running constant to the battery, just needs a relay put in. The bike runs and drives fine right now, pulls fairly hard.
It's mainly stock, but there are a few aftermarket parts: Integrated Front Turn Signals, Smoked LED Rear taillight with integrated turn signals, CBR Grips.
My loss is your gain, I just bought the bike for 4900 about 4 months ago and dropped another grand in a labor and parts, I didn’t even get chapstick to lube up with. Final price drop/bump. 3.7k or trade for a 600cc sportbike w/ clean title (must be done either today or tomorrow morning, otherwise I'm keeping it).
