looking into tacoma 05+ w/ trd supercharger (nags where you at?)

Any pros/cons to adding the TRD blower?
I like the Toyota, very durable and good gas mileage compared to my 01 Durango.
Anything I should be looking for both into the vehicle and adding the sc?

www.URDUSA.com is the shizzzzzzzzle.

The dude is a supercharging genius.

Sucks though.. The S/C is so much more expensive on the newer models.

Re: looking into tacoma 05+ w/ trd supercharger (nags where you at?)

As long as I drive normal it's about the same as when I was stock. If I'm on it everywhere than obviously I'll get less

that thing looks all racey! I'm gonna see if I can find one to test out, just hoping the sc v6 will have about the same as a v8 here at 5000'.

I'm not sure on the newer models but on the older ones it's a must.

And I never did it

Re: looking into tacoma 05+ w/ trd supercharger (nags where you at?)

I ain't cheap.. I spent a lot of money between the supercharger, aftermarket computer, injectors, fuel pump, fans, etc etc etc etc.... I just never felt like dropping another G on the tranny and sending the parts out to be modified and not having a truck for a week

doing some more snooping around looks like being at altitude will work fine w/o any further mods, we'll see. guess I need to do some vehicle shopping first.
