Buell chain conv.

Finally made the switch to a chain and sprocket on the buell. Stunting with the stock belt drive was such a bitch. It was a lot easier to do than I thought. Here are a few pics

Hey buddy, the pizza shop called and they want their pizza pan back! They are pissed you drilled holes in it too.... lol

Good riding yesterday! Amazing what a little gearing will do for a good rider. You did things on that stock Buell that people said could not be done, and now that you have some gearing to work with, your making it all look that much easier and tighter!

Going to be a fun year!

Pretty sweet actually. I have been so busy I have not had time to ride with him since he did the conversion. Wow, what a difference it made. We all had to completely re-learn to stunt ride when we got the Buells last year. There was NOTHING that came easy in that switch for us. I had rode a bunch of different Jap bikes in my 5 years of stunt riding, and could usually go from one to another to another and basically ride them the same, but when we got on the Buells, everything was different. Taylor worked like a dog to get circles on a stock Buell, and he had people watching in disbelief when he finally started to get them. Now with the gearing, he looks like he is riding a Jap bike again. HUGE difference.

We love riding them now, and none of us ride Jap bikes even though they are sitting there in our garages. It is hard to explain. The Buells are just an awesome bike that is like no other I have ever rode before. If you get the chance to ride one, defintily do it!

+1, I love the Buells. It was a big difference from the rice burners at first. I love rock'n stand-ups past youngsters with 60 more HP than me on the jap bikes, but can't ride a wheelie more than a block. Love my buell and it's American made to boot.

Go to www.badweatherbikers.com and search "chain conversion" and you'll find a thousand post on it. If you have a Buell, that website is the best for anything to do with it.
