i think everyone that buys a sportbike wants to learn to wheelie, just takes a certain mindset to actually try long enough to learn balance point.

i understand but how long did it take yall to get good at whellies where you could get it up to bp and ride the **** out of it? it seems like im dumb to me caus ei cant get the sheot down. is it easyer if you learn to wheelie stand ups first or ?? cause it seems to come up easyer and more comfy for yall and i feel awkward when it dose get up high enough cause i feel like im gonna fall off the thang backwards and i know im not even past 2 or 2.5 feet, is this normal feeling to have or am i a puss? should i try stand ups? or stick with sit downs? oh yea dose anyone know of anyone that would mind riding with a punk that can bearly pop em up? im in the stpete/tampa area of FL holla at me if you wanna ride PM!! later you punk asses that make me look like crap.. lol peace.
your spelling makes me want to shoot myself in the face
with a really big gun. please learn to type esp. if your gonna ask questions. being able to actually write a complete thought in sentence form will help you get better answers rather than saying :

Re: how long after you got your bike befor you started to do wheelies?
Tought myself how to wheelie when I was a kid with no help & not one pointer. Started clutching up & riding out wheelies on dirtbikes at 11, by right before I turned 12 I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear on my back wheel of my xr100 & doing most of my road on one wheel. I'd ride out long wheelies even with my friends on the back. Nothing crazy, just sitdowns. I would have been doing other crazy stuff but I've never seen it then.
I started lifting my front wheel at the end of my first day on my first rocket. By my 4th day I was doing 1/4 mile smoothly a over 80mph. I picked up very fast on my rocket, but I was good at 11 and i got good on my 50 acouple months before I got my rocket.

hmmm had a zx-7r and wrecked it tryin to wheelie. hit a grand cherokee head on and fucked myself up something awful.
got a gsxr600 this year and three weeks later i'm back up on one. it helps having a better rider to around to learn from.
