at your age add about a grand to that $750
besides, your 600 is a good bike. why get rid of it?

i've seen a kid, 17, get a busa and a week later he wadded the fuker up...too much power for him to handle. i'm not sure if he lost his leg or not.

no joke, it's fast as fuk!

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

I'm sure that kid had no prior experience. Anyway I went and sat on the z1000 and I think it's what I want to buy. I just got a quote from Geico. 400 dollars a year for full coverage! I pay almost that for liability on the 600!

Is there anyway I can get some aftermarket fairings for it?

I road the z1000 the other day. That bile was sick, lots of low end power. 2nd gear roll on no problem and brakes are pimp. I would go with the z1000. Think made me feel like a hooligan though I would get in trouble on that bike.

It's really unique too, you could go to a bike night and see 15 gixxers and you'd be the only one with a z1000.

FHL, you're full of shit. A baby sitting job will pay for a busa and insurance? And what the hell is this thread doing in stunt discussion?

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

First of all, of you read the thread I'm not buying a 'Busa.

My sister is paying me 40 dollars a week to help her 2 days. That's 160 dollars a month. I am getting 4500 trade in on my 600. Assuming I can get 8000 out the door, that would with interest it would be 120 dollars a month for 3 years. Insurance is 36 dollars a month (dad pays it anyway) so that would be 156 dollars a month.

I have 40 dollars for gas or anything else I might need until I can get a job after I come back from visiting my mom this summer.

This has to be BS!!!!!!!!!! That low of insurance, NO WAY AT 16 for full coverage. And there is no way your gonna be able to afford it at 40 $$ a week.hahahaa Im not gonna tell anyone what to get cause it aint my business but if your 16 you should be in good enough shape to cruise around on a 600 for a damn good trip

I have a perfect record, I've taken Master Drive and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. My dad has the title in his name, insures it as him being the primary driver, and me the secondary. It's not bullshit I assure you that is the exact quote I was given.

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

Well maybe the insurance deal is legit if its in your dads name, which is cool of him but prolly not the smartest thing to do. Why do you need to get a busa or the z1000 already. Can you even rock that 600 to its potential yet. Its not that uncomfortable for a cruise especially at 16, I say hit the gym and tough it out. But its up to you bro i aint against anyone doing what they want but id keep the 600.

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

I dunno, I'll think about it. The thing is, I don't go out to the twisties much. I use my primarily bike for getting around town, and I frequently ride on the highway. I do like my 600 don't get me wrong but it's a little high strung for the type of riding I do.

That's illegal if you ride it all of the time, it makes sense that the rate is so slow now.

Why is it illegal? I'm a secondary rider. It would be illegal if I was not a secondary rider and I rode it all the time. What I'm doing is perfectly legal. Not only that, who the hell knows who's putting the miles on it? If I did get into an accident (god forbid) I'm still a secondary rider.

You don't even have a bike and you're commenting on which ones are suitable for me?

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

First off Bro I told you to do whatever the hell you wanted cause i could care less what you get, I just gave my opinion on what id do. 2nd by the way your talking i could hop on that gsxr6 and ride it ten times better than you whos complaing about it being comfortable and wants a busa to cruise around the block and be some poser who cant even ride. So get your Busa go park it and sit there and rev it downtown wherever your at, and then put back home on it while someone on a ninja 250 passes you by cause you cant ride the 600 to its potential let alone a Busa.

How the **** do you know how well I can ride. Have you ever ridden a street bike? A modern 600 is just as difficult to ride as a 1000, it's only less powerful. I don't know where you get your facts from but I'm not a poser, if I was I sure as hell would not even have the Z1000 as a choice.

I ride a 200CC standard honda to it's limits every time I go out. I don't have any chicken strips on my gixxer, and you sure as hell could NOT ride 10x better than me.

I dunno. I'll have to think about it. Right now I am thinking the insurance might be really high so I'll have to see.

uhh 40 a week = 160 a month that is not enough to cover paymetns or insurance let alone both.

Re: Hayabusa or Z1000

Oh wow, im done waisting my time here, obviously you have no clue what your talking about, a 600 is just a shard to ride as a 1000 r you serious. And you say you want a z1000 to cruise around town and maybe make a trip now and then, can we say overkill in the first place. But whatever, get whatever you want, I could care less, peace!
