Re: Battle of the cages poll. Who makes the best and why?

i have a fi cage and im lookin for somethin new. i like the fi cage because it is light and has worked for me so far but ive seen others end badly. im not sure about powers or 905, they both look pretty intrusive and the only person i know with a 905 wears shin gaurds at all times and people with powers cages claim they are heavy as shit so i might try sick innovations out and see what they look like, ive heard a lot of good things

in fact, i have pics of just about every cage we make now, so if anyone wants any, let me know

All, I'm sure Jeff will get back to you with all the information you need. He was very helpful in explaining the functions of his cages as well as sending you good pics. He was very quick in getting back to me, but as soon as I paid my money and was promised that it was in the mail, the communications just stopped. I can't get ahold of MXD. They took my money and never gave me a reply as to any delays...

JEFF, JUST GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!!! I'VE BEEN PATIENT AND I PAID QUICKLY. YOU TOLD ME IT WAS IN THE MAIL ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Battle of the cages poll. Who makes the best and why?

I went through Powers back when I had an F3. Ordered the cage from them, took well over a month to get it. It didn't quite fit right either and it made the bike look like a tank once I got it on. Very bulky cage.
I wasn't totally please with my first order, but I figured I'd try them again for my 12 bar. This time it took them over 3 months and repeated calls to them asking where my stuff was. Each time, I got a different lie - "it's in powder coating" or "we're waiting on this, that and the other" or my favorite "it's going to ship on Thursday"...yea ok. I guess they meant Thursday 3 months later. And when I finally did get it, it didn't even come close to fitting!! I had to have my bank get my money back.

So now I just picked up an 03' 636. I've placed an order with SI for my cage. Not thrilled about having to drill the fairing, but they seem to have a good rep for making a solid cage so I'm gonna try it out.

Thumbs down to powers - poor service.

i think freestyle ingenuity is the best, no hitting of the shins and it's just so damn easy to work with
