I love mine, its saved me multiple times. I got the rsc so i dont have to set it up as high since it automatically senses changes and adjusts by pressure. Its almost like it does the thinking for you on how much dampening is needed. Get one, you wont be disappointed....

dont know if youve gotten a good awnser, but i have a scotts on my 929 and i ALWAYS keep it all the way hard when im doin stoppies, got a nasty tankslapper and flipped about five minutes after i thought i could roll them without one on a new bike (new to me) so yeah, i would always keep it all the way hard when your rollin them, unless your just messin around then maybe keep it like 3/4 of the way hard, you really shouldnt need it stiff when youre just out riding, itll dampen enough just riding around town like if you hit a rock in a corner or something......anyways ill stop ranting, hope i helped

I hate the feeling it gives when you ride... I rode on a bike with a GPR and on the lowest setting it still felt like it was swaying side to side like the ocean.... Is that normal on all dampers? (This was at low speeds, at above 25mph+ it didnt sway)

You can buy install kits for the Toby from denniskirk.com. You can pretty easily make your own also. Depends where you want to mount it up really. Its not very hard if you are somewhat mechanically inclined..

you probably wont need one if your goin 140 on the streets youll probably die soon in fact.... but if you want one dont get a gpr, 50% of them barely work out of the box, and when they do they dont stiffen up as much as a scotts or ohlins does

kelm..........you dont need a dampner for kelm stands, but the swaying was because you probably had it all the way hard going 10mph the front wheel is verrrrrry hard to turn at low speeds when its all the way hard...

arent STREET bikes made to go fast or did everyone forget that?
i guess it is so much more exciting and more of a rush to do a circle jerk in a parkinglot with your best friends and doing 140 on the highway isnt that dangerous if you know how to ride streets wich the people here on lot life have forgotten about
