Hammered Wall At 70-80MPH

I went to CA speedway for a track day on Friday.I was having a blast.
My first time at this track.I was dragging my hand through 4and5.
Anyway it was session 5 and I was going to get one more session
out of my tires befor I took lunch and changed my tires. So Im comming
up on turn 8 thats the hair pin.I just lost the rear as I began to enter the
turn and it slid out like glass.I remember seeing the wall comming and
thinking oh god not the wall. Then I hit head first I remeber the crushing
filling of my head then my shoulders. To top it off the bike then hit me
in the hand and ankle. For the 1st time I was lying there worried about
myself rather than my bike.I couldnt get up,I could only see blades of grass and sunlight.I was picked up by ambulance and taken to onsight
DR.Thanks to all the gear I am very bruised, swollen hand and ankle\foot.
But I dont think I have any broken bones. The bike however is much worse
off than me.My beautiful blue baby is destroyed.I love that bike and will
rebuild it.Please never ask yourself.Do you think I can make it the rest of
the day on these tires?Or can I just make it one more session? Its not worth it.And for all you stunters if your doing fast stuff WEAR GEAR.
Its just plain stupid to ride without a helmet and boots.
