weird 12 wheelie question!

ok this might sound weird to some of you guys but the thing is im starting on the 12s standing next weekend but my problem is i can only wheelie with my both feet on the rear pegs or knee on seat, i tried both feet on the front pegs and only the left one on the rear but if feels kinda weird! like im hanging not standing up straight....is there a proper way of doing it? the way i do my standup wheelie is i stand as soon as the bike comes up, i cant stand then wheelie....any tips would be great

it's all about being comfortable with the bike in any position...i would suggest getting used to wheelieing in different positions so it jsut becomes natural...there isn't really a way to get around using the rear brake when you 12

YEP

Right foot on the rear brake is a must

either learn it sittin down (thats how I learned)
or left foot on the rear peg
or if you have a scrape bar put your foot back there......thats the easiest to do since it takes all the weight off your arms but its probably harder to learn since there is a big wight shift that you have to get used to. If I were you I'd either do it sittin down or left foot rear peg......and PRACTICE ALOT!!!

i would suggest getting used to regular wheelies in first with your feet on the front pegs then left foot back peg first. once you start doing 12's you need to be able to freely shift you weight or you'll fall over.

Round off your skillz by being able to stand up then wheelie, this is a minor trick and 12's are some hard mo fo's so you might as well have some diversity in your arsonal before jumping on them.
