03 636 triple clamp removal

03 636 triple clamp removal

Hey guys. I can't get the triple clamp off of my 2003 zx6r! I removed the big hex nut in the middle, loosened the clip ons, un-bolted the clip ons from the triple, and removed the screws that clamp the triple to the forks. What am I missing?

get the weight off the frontend , jack the bike up from the exhaust

I got the clamp off. NOTHING will extend to these new handlebars. None of the cables. As I understood, everything but the front brake will reach to the bars. Is there a writeup anywhere about a dirtbike bar conversion?
