Float bowl Drainage

Hey, I just got a bike that is carbed and I wanna prepare it for the winter. It says I need to drain the float bowl on the carbs. Im mechanically retarded but I need to get this done before it gets to cold. Anyone have a picture diagram or in depth description on how to drain the float bowls.

Re: Float bowl Drainage

there should be a phillips head on the bottom of each float bowl. not sure if each one has a drainage hose coming off it or not. but is so put the bottom of the hoses in a soda bottle and crack the phillips head screws loose and the fuel will flow out of the carbs. but if you remove the fuel outta the bike then theres a chance of condensation build up. ive heard of toping of the tank and puttin "Sta-Bil" in the fuel. to prevent any condensation from entering the tank and fuel system.
