![]() | Using A Motor Stand? I may need to rebuild my F4i motor so I would like to know... has anyone build a motor stand? If so are there plans somewhere on line or at least pictures? I've rebuild a couple of car motors and have always used a stand, it make it way easier than trying to build it on the floor. In your experience, what have you done or seen done, to make rebuilding a motorcycle engine easier? Please post up. |

![]() | Re: Using A Motor Stand? I've seen a few different stands, but not sure who made them. Personally, I just use the bench. Quite different than rebuilding a car in that you can easily pick the entire engine up and move it around as necessary. But a stand would be pretty nice. K & L Metric Engine Stand *edit* Looks like this type will only work on a complete engine. Looks pretty useless if the cases are split. Last edited by ToKwik : 08-29-2008 at 10:47 AM. |
