Tyre pressures for stoppies?
Hi all,
What tyre pressures are u lot using for the stoppies? I've heard it helps to take a little out the front!
+ Is it better to tighten up the front forks (pre-load/rebound etc..)?
Is thier a difference between the saying "stoppies and Endo's" or do they mean the same thing! sorry if thats a dick question!!
Cheers

I think my front tire calls for 36 lbs of pressure and last time I checked it was around 30-32.
I would think you'll want to make the front forks a litter stiffer, this way theres less travel in the front forks, wich would naturally bring the rear up easier.
As far as endo's and stoppies,....same thing, just depends on what you feel like calling it.

My front tire isn't any less than normal air pressure for my endo's.
endo is the same thing as a stoppie. But i have heard of it being called a stoppie, when you just stop and have the rear end come up. But I think they are the same.

Cheer's for the advice lads!
I'm just having trouble with finding a decent stretch of road to practice on, all the roads over have a camber to them, this makes the rear always go to one side!!

yea, I totally agree with the stupid crowns in the road. every road here has that. Especially my road right outside my driveway. I got used to it though, so when I bomb those parking lots I do pretty well.

Hey, if you want water to pool up and flood the roads so you can never ride, that's your problem.

If you feel like your front end dives excessively, crank up the preload and compression damping. This is true for regular riding also, not just stoppies.
