Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

First off 25 30 mph is not a slow wheelie... Second when you are learning you don't normally need to gear up at first... Not sure about on a 1k though.. Third around 20-25psi if you keep it on the street.. You will be able to feel that in turns but its not so much where it feels like you are going to crash.. And it will still help you out.. (If you are only in the lot some people run less) And like you said your self a big set of balls and seat time... I would also look in to a cage and take your fairings off so you don't fuck them up at first.. About all i have for you.. Other then +1 on the last comment... People do stunt 1k's and people can kill them not saying you cant... but it is alot less of a pain for you to start on some type of 600... Go buy a cheap F4i for 2k and trash that bike and keep yours minty ...

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

lol get a 600 either f4i or 636 thats already a stunt bike for like $1500 and keep your 1000 nice. u will spend close to that turning it into a stunt bike anyway and you will ruin the bike in the process...
ur better off learning how to ride on a 600, they are more forgiving and a lot less powerful

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

its not that the bike is too big, its that its too fucking expensive. the key to doing "slow" wheelies. which i would think that you just mean a controlled speed wheelie is simply to be able to use your rear brake to help control your wheelie. the simple facts are, if you are gaining speed in a wheelie you need to bring it up higher. the way to slow it down is to bring it up and past the bp so that you are using the brake to keep it from going all the way over backwards and you will feel the bike actually start to slow down. i shit you not, that point is WAY higher than you think it might be. if youre gaining speed, youre not high enough. there is no magic setup or words that are going to help you wheelie, just wheelie alot. i learned by wheelying every where i went. cops dont like it though so get ur money right.

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

i wasnt being a asshole but dude, that is a brand new bike first of all, second your new to stunting.... correct? you will destroy it, even if you cage it your tank is done, your rear fairing is done, and if shit really gets bad your sub frame is done and if your scared of it its going to make you its bitch. what im saying is that you stunting out an 08 1k is definetly not recommended. but fuck who am i to tell you not to stunt the shit. your best bet would be what the rest of these guys are saying buy an f4i stunted out for 1500 bills, and learn that way. much more cheaper in the end also

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

the only way to learn how to ride a stunt bike is to ride a stunt bike. you gotta put the time in and take some spills if you want to learn. if you dont fall and you dont progress, you arent trying hard enough.

they are on here in the classifieds all the time u just watch them, if not here ebay has good deals sometimes too. personally i wouldnt spend much more than 1000, they are out there you just gotta be patient and one will turn up. then you can take that other 800 and buy an 80 or maybe a 125 if your lucky

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

i had an 08 kx250f like a year ago as you can see in my avatar, and it was pimp. didnt actually do any stunting but damn i would love to have that thing back to stunt out thats for sure. get something to ride so you can get comfortable wheeling and getting into the balance point, then the next step is riding the idle which is normally around 3500rpm, and from there you can progress and get good, and then hopefully later on once your comfortable with whichever bike you choose, you can stunt that liter lol without fucking it up.

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

If you want a Dirtbike to stunt you should get a 4stroke... You started out wanting a street bike though so just get a old 636, f4i ect... You can find deals on bikes you just have to look.. If you end up getting a dirtbike go to the Motard section in the forum you will get plenty of info there..

Re: im new to stunting and i need help..haha..

i'd take an f4i, it's stronger than an 636.
Bullet proof !
