F4i with 600rr idle cable mod w/PICS

Can someone tell me if threaded part is too long, it looks like it is but does it matter? Also you have you have too cut the smooth part off the end for those who are wondering. Regardless it twists super smooth.

vDAMN this mod is the tops! Ive never felt a more steady, strong idle ever. Bike pulls hard as hell now, no bog, love it! Thanks to Rowdy for giving me the lowdown and seeing it done on his bike.

If the cable is laying on the cylinder head like in pic 1, will that melt?

You need the spring so the cable doesn't vibrate loose and then fall out.

Looks good Ted... U DEF need the spring in there though to keep tension on it or it WILL vibrate out when u least expect it. Its not the knob u have to worry about And NO it wont melt

Happy wheelies!

When I ordered the 900rr idle cable from Honda it came with the spring and washer. On my old f4i the cable didn't have a spring and even though the knob was ziptied securely the cable came unscrewed from the throttle bodies.
