ohlins dampner problem...? help!!

ohlins dampner problem...? help!!

when i tighten my dampner all the way it has a whloe bunch of play in it before it gets tight... i re bled it , and put new seals and it wont go away... like when its tight you can turn the clipons about 1/12 each way before it dampens,,, anyone have this problem?

make sure the big nut that holds the top tripple on is tight and make sure the part that bolts to the frame is tight then check the part that connects to the big nut

fyi.. your front wheel moves about sixyteen inches from lock to lock and the damper moves about an inch so that means every 1/16 of an inch of play in your damper is one inch of play at your wheel

No Thats Not It, Its Bolted To My Tripple Tree And You Can See As You Move It Theres Just Play? Thats Why I Dont Bring Out My Stoppie Secret Weapon...lol

Air bubbles would be my first guess, I know some people have luck bleeding them themselfs...but you really should have a proper Ohlins tech rebuild them....Out of all the shops in my city only one is a Ohlins certified rebuild centre....

my bad rob i was thinking of a scotts yes if you have a rod style then you have air in it or some thing is loose .
