636 tip over sensor?

i know a lot of guys dont do it but i want to just to be sure it doesn't shut my bike off. how do you disengauge the tip over sensor on an 03 or 04 636?

it only works side to side or unless its about at like 3 o clock.

the sensor is under the seat but im not sure how to fix it.

it might like the gsxrs. take it apart and fill it with a hard epoxy so the neelde doesnt move.

if it is the same as my 06 636.. disassemble the sensor, remove the spinner internal

its probably the exact same switch 03-06

Its in a square black box underneath the front seat. There is a
*pengilum inside the black box. You do not need to remove it, its prolly not ur problem

i'm not having a problem with the bike or anything i just wanna remove it or make it so it can't work

the only time mine is a problem is on stalls, 25% of the time.. and my bar is way past 12 oclock, its more like 2 oclock if i go to the bar...

i wouldnt worry about it in till it starts to mess with you

just open up the tip over box thing and take out the weight in the middle on the bar. did it on mine over the summer with no prob.

do you still want those vids? i got too busy with family to head out your way during xmas

I never even thought about it , my bike has no issues side to side, or back to 12.

just so every one knows the 03-04 is mounted on the front of the battery tray under your tank

No need to disconnect it. It doesnt cause any problems. If it stays running on its side, I believe it can suck oil into the cylinders and cause hydrolock. That's if you didnt do the pair mod. Leave it in.

I like when my bike shuts off after wrecking, mine is staying put for now.

Open the box and take the pendalum out then put the box back together and reconnect.
